Surely they'd just buy the OS and build a cheap athletics stadium elsewhere?

I thought about the idea Sullivan would like to leave it to his kids. Only Jack would be interested and I can’t see DS just gifting his kids an asset worth somewhere north of £300m

Re: Some Light At The End of the Tunnel ?
Why did they sell up at Birmingham? Was it fans unrest? I think understanding why they really sold up there would give some basis on if they would sell up here.

Re: Some Light At The End of the Tunnel ?
The only way I can see a takeover happening is if it also involves the stadium. With the lack of fans and cancelled events in the last 3 months, the London Stadium must be close to bankruptcy. They would probably bite someones hand off to take it off them. If they were able to own both the ground and club, they would have the opportunity to turn the ground into a home, something resembling a football stadium, and somewhere we want to go. That would be a more viable alternative than building a new stadium.

Re: Some Light At The End of the Tunnel ?
Let’s be honest. There has been so much noise surrounding this for months now (I know there has been on and off rumours for years but I mean how consistent it has been recently) that I think there has to be something in it.

Re: Some Light At The End of the Tunnel ?
They sold up at Birmingham because they found a Hong Kong gangster who wanted somewhere to wash his money

Re: Some Light At The End of the Tunnel ?
I can see them selling up

Maybe that was never the intention, but things just haven’t worked out

The stadium is cheap, so that much did work, but the fans resentment of the owners, coining them, a demo at a game, a second demo narrowly averted, plus the impending relegation, could be enough for them to cash in?

Please, please, please let this be true. I've had it with the current situation

Well, I know for a fact that this is untrue. Begs the question, why did you go to the trouble of registering and typing all that out?

I'm pretty sure Brum fans played a significant role in them leaving.

Why should I believe you and not him?

What would be the point of a wind-up of this kind?

I’m keeping an open mind and my senses clear. All you’re trying to do is shut them by claiming you know something “for a fact”.

Thanks for sharing...

Agree with you...incompetent greedy Owners...Souless Athletics stadium...Poor management from owners with lack of solid professional football strategy and long term planning...

Club has been run as a cash cow for the owners resulting in many poor footballing decisions...

Won't change until new effective football experienced management and investment oriented ownership is running the club.

Not buying it. CC is obviously a sadist enjoying rinsing a bit more hope out of people as a means of torture.

He's Ramsey Bolton pretending to let Theon escape, only to recapture and torture him.

If West Ham United Football Club gets sold in the summer, I will eat my hat!

Thanks for posting, CC.
Let’s hope this comes to fruition.

The bit about a new ground is interesting. I’ve actually got used to the new place now. Match day routine, regular watering hole, decent seat. Having said that, if we could have a ground which gave us something along the lines of the old girl, I’d be ecstatic.

Anyway, don’t be a stranger, keep us updated if you can.

Whilst it is difficult to imagine owners worse than the current ones what makes anyone think that new owners would be significantly better?

It’s not true especially this summer and next.
